About the Office of Director

The office of the Director manages six Divisions of the Department. They are Building and grounds, Roads and Bridges, Engineering, Planning, Fleet management and Mosquito Control. The Director also assists in carrying out the mission of Essex County by designing, managing, protecting, maintaining, and providing professional engineering services for all county facilities.

The Director is also in charge of the County Planning Board, the County Construction Board of Appeals. Assists ECUA in conducting Recycling events for Hazardous Waste and Electronics.

The Director also provides Engineering and Technical Support to the Department of Parks and Recreation.
